2008 New Jersey State Outdoor Conventional Pistol Championship September 26th -28th, 2008 NRA Registered Outdoor 2700 Pistol Match, CMP Leg Match, NRA Distinguished Revolver Match, and Team Matches

Location: 168 Stump Tavern Road, Jackson, New Jersey (for directions, see third page)
Match Schedule: One relay each day at 9:00 a.m. There will be a 10 minute break between .22 and Centerfire. A buffet lunch, cost $4.00, will be served between Centerfire and .45 aggregates. Team matches are non-fired and will consist of scores fired in the National Match Course for .22, CF, and .45. There will be a CMP Excellence-in-Competition, or "Leg" match, conducted in accordance with CMP rules, starting at about 3:00 p.m., each day. An NRA Distinguished Revolver Match will be conducted in conjunction with the Leg Match. For both the CMP EIC Match and NRA Distinguished Revolver Match, scores for all days and locations will be combined into one match.
Conditions: Open to NRA members. New Jersey residents MUST be members of The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs and may join at the range. NRA Conventional Pistol Rules and classifications will be utilized. Unclassified competitors must shoot in the Master class. USE OF ALCOHOL BEFORE OR DURING MATCH IS FORBIDDEN.
"NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR EMPTY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTAINERS ARE PERMITTED ON THE CLUB PREMISES. VIOLATORS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM COMPETITION AND REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY."
Course of fire: All slow fire at 50 yards on B-6 targets; timed and rapid fire at 25 yards on B-8 targets. Range is equipped with turning targets at 25 yards.

Match #2 - .22 National Match Course (30 shots)

Matches #6-10, same as 1-5, except caliber is Centerfire Matches #11-15, same as 1-5, except caliber is .45

Course of fire for the CMP “Leg� Match is the National Match Course. Equipment and ammunition requirements are specified in CMP rules. (If you have not earned any points towards “Distinguished� status, the entry fee will be waived and you may use .45 ammunition that be provided to you at no cost. When registering for the Leg Match, please specify if you want “factory� or “reduced load� [3.8 grains of 700X] ammunition.)
Awards: In Grand Aggregate: To High New Jersey resident, State Champion medallion. Award to High New Jersey Resident within each classification. Award to High New Jersey Woman, Junior, and Senior if at least 3 entrants in those categories.
One Open winner per match, with class awards within classifications, open winner not eligible for class awards. Within classifications, one award per each 5 competitors. Classes will be combined upwards, if necessary, to make a class of at least 5 competitors, except shooters will not be combined with High Masters. If less than 5 High Masters, they will compete for Open award only. After match expenses, 50% of entry fees will be returned to competitors in awards.
The winner of each classification will receive a prize “to be determined.� In the past, we have awarded pistols. (Check www.njpistol.com for latest information).
Military personnel residing outside of New Jersey are not eligible. Shooters known to shoot above their current classification are not eligible and will be notified in advance.
All participants will receive a memento “to be determined.� Check www.njpistol.com for details. Merchandise awards available to all participants (drawing to be conducted during luncheon). A list of awards is available at www.njpistol.com.
Fee: $50.00 for entire match, $25.00 for one gun, $33.00 for two guns. Fee for “Leg� Match is $15.00 (waived for competitors who have not earned any points towards Distinguished Pistol Shot). Team match fee: $10.00 per team. Juniors pay no entry fees.
Team matches: Any team composition is allowed. However, winning team plaque will be awarded to the high “local club� team from NJ and nearby states.
